Tori Elyea

Starting her twirling career at age 4, Tori has spent most of her life involved in baton twirling. She was captivated by baton twirlers while attending her first football game and soon thereafter picked up her first baton starting a life-long passion and admiration for the sport. Tori was trained by Major Margaret Mann.

Tori was a “Golden Girl” (aka Feature Twirler) for Baylor University from 2006-2009 in Waco, TX. Throughout her competitive years, she won several State, Regional, and National titles while competing in multiple organizations. After competing, Tori transitioned into the role of coach and judge. She loves seeing the love of baton twirling through the eyes of her students now.

After college, Tori went on to receive her Juris Doctorate and now works as a transactional attorney for a Fortune 500 company. She credits baton twirling for teaching her many of the skills that make her successful as an attorney. Tori enjoys having baton twirling as her creative outlet after sitting in an office all day.

A NBTA licensed judge, Tori has judged numerous local, State, Regional, and National competitions.

She currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, Brent, and her cat, Audrey.
